Cadbury Cream Egg McFlurry...yum?

It will be debuting this Easter season in the U.K. We can only hope that this, let's say...interesting concoction will make it's way to the States.

"chips of Cadbury chocolate, and a generous heap of the "yolk" fondant section of a Cadbury Creme Egg."

I can just picture them cracking all those chocolate eggs for the yolks.

Friday The 13th

There is so much folklore about Friday the 13th. Below are a few fun facts about the "scary" date.

" The ill-fated Apollo 13 launched at 13:13 CST on Apr. 11, 1970. The sum of the date's digits (4-11-70) is 13 (as in 4+1+1+7+0 = 13). And the explosion that crippled
the spacecraft occurred on April 13 (not a Friday). The crew did make it back to
Earth safely, however.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt would not travel on the 13th day of any month and would never host 13 guests at a meal. Napoleon and Herbert Hoover were also
triskaidekaphobic, with an abnormal fear of the number 13.

The number 13 suffers from its position after 12, according to numerologists
who consider the latter to be a complete number - 12 months in a year, 12 signs
of the zodiac, 12 gods of Olympus, 12 labors of Hercules, 12 tribes of Israel,
12 apostles of Jesus, 12 days of Christmas and 12 eggs in a dozen. "

Michael Moore Is Recruiting Whistleblowers

Michael Moore appears to be making a new movie about the collapse of America's financial system and he wants you! This is the e-mail I got this morning asking for assistance with the great task of outing all of the crooks who have destroyed the savings of millions of American's.

"Will You Help Me With My Next Film? ...a request from Michael Moore

February 11, 2009

Friends,

I am in the middle of shooting my next movie and I am looking for a few brave people who work on Wall Street or in the financial industry to come forward and share with me what they know. Based on those who have already contacted me, I believe there are a number of you who know "the real deal" about the abuses that have been happening. You have information that the American people need to hear. I am humbly asking you for a moment of courage, to be a hero and help me expose the biggest swindle in American history.

All correspondence with me will be kept confidential. Your identity will be protected and you will decide to what extent you wish to participate in telling the greatest crime story ever told.

The important thing here is for you to step up as an American and do your duty of shedding some light on this financial collapse. A few good people have already come forward, which leads me to believe there are many more of you out there who know what's going on. Here's your chance to let your fellow citizens in on the truth.

If you have any info that would help, please contact me at my private email address: bailout@michaelmoore.com.

For the rest of you on my email list who don't work in the financial industry, you're probably wondering, "What the heck is this all about? I thought he said he was making a romantic comedy!"

Well, I just can't say much right now. I'm sure you can understand why. One thing I can tell you is that you're gonna like this movie when I'm done with it. Oh, yeah...

So, again, if you work for a bank, a brokerage firm or an insurance company -- or if you have seen things or heard things that you believe the American people have a right to know -- please contact me at bailout@michaelmoore.com.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Yours,
Michael Moore

Amusement Ride Accidents

Who doesn't love going to an amusement park? There is no comparing the thrill you get from such a controlled environment. There is that off chance though that something could go wrong. The blog below tells, in great detail, every amusement ride accident dating back to 1998. There are roller coaster derailments, inflatable bounce castles blowing away with people still inside, and the county fair rides that were just not put together right, it's all there. I promise that you will be amazed and a little creeped out by how many of these "incidents" occur but you never hear a word.

Masked Bandits On White House Grounds

The Washington Post reports that a family of raccoons have taken the secure White House grounds as there home.

"The National Park Service is in pursuit of one very large raccoon and several medium-sized raccoons, who have been spotted roaming the grounds around the Executive Mansion and the West Wing, a spokesman said."

I think this might be the definition of a non-news story.
