The New Rochelle school district tore pages from Girl Interrupted to "protect the children". By that they mean the 18 year old seniors who had to compare the book to the movie of the same name starring Angelina Jolie. This assignment was difficult as integral parts of the story were destroyed when the school board deemed them inappropriate. crazy.
